Winter storm warnings have been out for two days now (even though it technically is spring). The Colorado low has brought lots of precipitation falling in the form of freezing rain and snow which are anticipated to flood the Red River Valley in waters deeper than the "flood of '97".
In 1997 the Red River Valley was flooded 21 feet deep with 28,000 people evacuated from the area.
It is a good day to live in Manitou (the Pembina Valley) - even if we have a bunch of new snow the last week of March. Yuck.

Wow, I am glad you don't live there. Where will all the people go? Maybe you'll have to have company!
I heard about that in the news actually - yikes! Glad you guys aren't affected!
