The mornings wouldn't be complete the past couple of weeks with out Chirpee's "semi" parked in my kitchen. He is also making soup with Dimple in this picture. A few minutes after pictures were done he was on his back under the "trailer" fixin' things. "Ya, it broken. I have to fix it."
I can say there have been too many days in the house the past week. Personally, I can find a lot to tinker with indoors that will hold my attention and contentment just fine. But now that I am a mom; we HAVE to go outside. A glorious, semi-warm, sunny day is in order. The whole of Southern Manitoba would in fact appreciate this NOW. That is another story which I won't take time to blog about. Click the link if you are curious.
Oh Look! Poor Dimple has reached the end of his happy journey. It is fitting because all cherishable childhood moments end about the time mommy pulls out her camera. But this moment has its own endearments. I actually took a lot of pictures before helping Dimple out and did feel a little like a bad mom because of it. Chirpee was very happily whirling Dimple around a racetrack in the living room on his "semi and trailer" prior to this moment.
So we have to find fun things to do since we've been more housebound, but Chirpee has been able to put on the winter clothing and play with his trucks in the wet yard. He lasts a lot longer than I would out there (is this really a surprise?).
To top it all off - it has been flurry-ing all day today. Thankfully we are warm enough that it isn't accumulating, but the constant grey and wet won't be missed.
So we play and we play on. There can be no end to play when you are three and one and a mommy of thirty-five.
