Of course things have been happening, but I assume most of the people interested in reading this blog also are on my email update list so you probably have most of my news. If you would like to be added to that list let me know and I will do so. I'm not necessarily willing to put my email address on this blog site, but maybe you could contact me by asking someone I know for the address.
The water situation is status quo. The spring melt off has happened and a little rain which has seeped into our large cistern to assist us with our showering. We did buy a new house which we will move into end of July. Then we shall have town water! I've never been excited about such things, but in this particular case it should prove to be a blessing.
Now that I've been in Manitoba a whole year I feel I can say without a doubt that it is impossible to drive so fast that dust won't accumulate on your car. Some may laugh at this because they've seen how slow I drive on the gravel roads here and others may find it no surprise that I've tested this out. Anyway, I have been less timid on the gravel roads (I know - city slicker) and can drive like a country girl these days - well most days . . . okay some.
Chirpee is my very big boy these days. He will soon be nine months which means I've had nine months of loving him and getting to know his wonderful self! These days you'll find everything in his mouth with lots of screeching and laughing. He is a big eater and it shows. I'm not sure where he got his height from (maybe he'll slow down?).
My eyes are beginning to cross so I'll abandon my lame efforts here. When we live in town we'll have high speed so maybe . . .
