The finished project. Before there was the original '77 goldenrod overhead fan in place of the microwave. This has also given me lots of new counter space as we could move off the microwave.

Lookin' good! That's a cozy looking kitchen you have there! I've always liked wood cabinets for some reason. Isn't it nice to have a husband who can fix/repair/do things? He has the same Crocs as Steve does in that picture! lol!
