After a long absence of blogging, I have returned. At least for today. There is no promise that my next post will be any timelier. I am not sure if that is a word, but I think you know what I mean. Thanks to pregnancy, I've been lying around my house collecting dust bunnies and letting dishes pile up in the sink until I can stand it no longer. So you see, I have been far too busy to blog...
Oh, the babies are worth all this discomfort and blah, though! We are expecting an arrival around January two. I can only hope this will be a Christmas baby, but I know it is probably wishful thinking on my part... A girl can dream can't she?
So far, I've lost eight pounds, but there is a heart beat in there and my stomach is starting to round out a bit. Well, unless a fruit in my belly can produce a heartbeat - pretty definitive that it is a baby. I am feeling better these days, though, so that should be the end of weight loss and the beginning of the gain! Cheers to gain!
Deereandy swept me away for a weekend a couple weekends ago. The above and below pics are of our quaint room. It was the first real reprieve in my fatigue and nausea so it was excellent timing. I ate three meals a day and we were both astounded at my clearing the plate! We stayed overnight at a lovely bed and breakfast in an old, rich neighborhood. Very lovely old homes with loads of character! We were both so surprised and happy with the reasonable price, too!
My hubby - so cute!
Myself - waiting for my hubby to finish getting ready. That is usually how it is in our house! I decided to take a picture of myself in the mirror.
The lovebirds in the park. St. Vital I believe! A gorgeous day and very relaxing! We did a lot of shopping around and eating fabulous food as well!
My last picture is significant in the fact that I don't think I have ever (in three plus years of marriage) seen my hubby not clear his plate. So I took a picture just for this blog! He kept commenting on what a HUGE baked potato it was!

That B&B looks so relaxing! We've never stayed in one, but I would love to one day.
I'm so glad you're feeling better! I did the same thing, but since I've felt alive again, I've gained back the early pregnancy weight loss. And it really is a comfort to hear that little heart beating. 'So glad all is going well!
Congratulations!! =)
Congrats on number #2.
