You may know me as Monkey's last morsel of PNW. Hydrangea. Beloved flower to the Monkey. I'm the replacement to the sometimes pink, sometimes purple, "Endless Summer" variety that ended after last winter. Too much difficulty for my more tender counterpart, but I'm zone 2! I'm of the hardier variety and have Monkey hoping I'll survive a prairie winter or 50.

Are these photos getting more random as we go along? Oh come on! Here it is July and I haven't posted since the end of May! I have too many things I could labor over, but I'm just sending a few snippets of the past couple months. I'm gearing up for homeschooling Liam for kindergarten and had a night where I was putting things away and organizing. Just happened to snap a picture. I hope we use some of these things!
Chirpee is quintessential elder brother! Mama's helper, Dimple's protector and mentor (when he is inspired anyway). My sweet Chirpee, my cheerful singer, my boy of countless hugs and affection. My little kitchen helper, my little man. Chirpee is trying to help Dimple ride his new bike that MIGHT fit him next summer. Glad he thought to hang his helmet on the bars...or is that my job?

After years and years of trying I have decided that trying to capture the magnificence of a praire sunset digitally is impossible. I still attempt it occasionally, but the results are disappointing. =)
