A Life Redeemed, Preaching Redemption

Recently, I was listening to Janet Parshall's "In the Market" (my beloved supper prep activity).  She was interviewing a most impressive lady.  Immediately my heart resounding with this woman's bold and joyful excitement over transformation that has gone on in her life.  And furthermore how God is using her today to preach freedom to the captives.

Chai Ling was the chief officer of the democratic demonstrations in Tienanmen Square in 1989.  She was one of the elected student leaders during the 3 weeks peaceful demonstration that ended in a massacre of the people not only in the square, but throughout Beijing.  I don't know if you recall the media coverage at the time, but I do remember the media coverage at the time and the famous picture of the student with arms wide open staring down a military tank.

You have to go here now and watch!

I have been reading her book and have hardly been able to put it down.  Such a tumultuous life she has lived and still only in the middle of her years.

I encourage everyone to review her organization for supporting and rescuing the girls of China.  An amazing woman with a daunting mission.  And for goodness sake!  Please pick up her book - a page turner!
