Sunshine

I finally got to take advantage of the sun today. I had plenty of messes in the house to keep me occupied, but Chirpee's childlike insistence is what pulled me outdoors today. He enjoyed riding our neighbor's snowmobile for quite awhile.

It is also my first "sunning" of my diapers. I have been wanting to do this for sooooo long. Chirpee's diapers are rather stained and since we've been having some odor issues, I figure a good dose of sunlight should help disinfect these babies.

I am using my neighbor's very sturdy, Hutterite built clothes dryer. He never uses it so I asked him if he minded my use of it this summer. I probably shouldn't have my diaper covers and laundry bag out there, but I figure one day of sun should help it - I just won't make a routine of it (Polyurethane Laminate waterproofing).


There you have it. Sun disinfects diapers, but it also shakes out the crabbies in mommies, too!
