That's right - double check the date on the header of this one!
Unbelievable! Not only is there no snow on that grass...but laundry on the clothesline! Zowie!
Went through two winter coats today, two pairs of splash pants, a windbreaker, four pairs of pants, four pairs of shoes/boots, and there are toys scattered all over the yard!
And the real tell-tale sign of spring (other than chunks of mud on my floors):
smell of manure wafting through the air.

One of my favorite childhood memories is the smell of the air in the spring, but the smell at our house didn't include manure. Just a lot of freshness. We loved going outside in the spring and getting to wear only our rubber boots and our spring jackets instead of all of the regular bulky winter things. We especially loved it if it had melted and froze again so we could go out and try and stand on the big flat thin layers of ice on all the knee deep ditch puddles.
Looks like you are enjoying the same spring in MB that we are here in Sask. Laundry is currently blowing in the wind and there is always the danger of having to pick it out of the trees with the gale we have today! But nothing smells quite like line dried sheets.
