Planting Time
Farmers are pretty much done seeding their fields which means Deereandy is able to put his attentions to our little spot of dirt in the back yard. I'd like to pretend that I was helpful and initiated the whole thing on my own, but that would be a lie.
And life has little room for lies. They weave a tangled web, so I'll just document it like it happened. My husband is a gem of a man and full of talents and skills that his wife is lacking. I desire the garden, he makes it happen. I am the passion, he is the practical! As you can see, Jujubes showed up just in time to help while multitasking a phone conversation. It couldn't prevent her from poking onions into a nice little row with my husband. I took pictures.
It was an exciting evening for the boys. Especially because they got to be a part of something that daddy was doing - the all time favorite thing around here. Daddy is our hero!
It is blurry, but this is the only one that came close to turning out. The boys' favorite pasttime, being boys.
This boy has some real winning expressions! He has me wrapped around his little dimple and pouty lips.
And he has me wrapped around his dimples, too. I won't give a description of his lips since this is a G rated blog.
Chirpee saying "cheese".
Time to tackle auntie Jujubes.

Fun! My personal garden this year is limited to the excessive number of broccoli plants that I stuck in between the trees in our tree belt and one new rhubarb plant. We'll see if zuchinni seeds make it into the ground next week!
