Sneak Peak into Homemaking: Bedroom One and Bathroom Only

This room is an office/bedroom.  It was used as an office by the prior owners.  It is an odd shape, but a good size.  Kind of long and narrow.  I am hoping all this lovely furniture will be gone, but have a bad feeling it is ours to keep!

It is located in front of the kitchen (or behind depending on your perspective).  But as the front of the house goes, this is the window on the front and the living room window is the other window showing on the front of the house which faces to the south.

Our plan is for this to be the future master.  We may or may not add an en suite.  I am leaning towards not as the bathroom is next door to this.  Maybe we could make a pocket door on the adjoining one wall and call it an en suite.

We need to add plumbing up one wall to the upstairs for an additional bathroom there.  So that will be a big project.  After that we can concentrate on paint and flooring and making this more of a bedroom.

There is another gold fridge in the basement!  So if you know of anyone who needs an extra fridge or two in their houses...

The closet at the end there actually runs the extent of the remaining wall, but happens to have a small door...  And that curtain covers over a hole in the wall with more makeshift shelving.  Potentially we will combine the two spaces into one large closet at some point.

Our one and only bathroom.  It has obviously been updated and looks good!

I am particularly excited about the storage space in the bathroom.  We will use every inch I'm sure!
