Sweet Symphony

As a music lover, perhaps my most favouriteist event is the symphony. Not just any old music mind you, but Mozart in particular. So my sister-in-law, Jujubes, had the brilliant idea that I could accompany her on one of her trips into Winnipeg to hear the orchestra featuring a piano concerto by him as well as a Beethoven infamous special.

What a treat! What a night! I was completely captured in by the Mozart piece and Beethoven's 7th had me ready to jump out of my seat! During intermission I began to boil up as someone behind me commented that "that second one [Mozart's Concerto No. 22)] was so simple. I almost fell asleep!" I stewed on that the whole evening and was sure to retell the story to my husband upon arriving back home around 1:30 in the morning. Oh it makes me simmer just remembering such an ignorant comment!
