I recently ventured onto Facebook for a lookie and found some ol' comrades. This brought the realization that I wasn't the only person that was looking less like my senior portrait. My face is a bit saggier, more scars from my obsessive picking, freckles, lots of grey hair and my ears and nose seem a bit longer, too. I was about 26 when I noticed the comments about me looking like I just graduated from high school stopped and after 27 never had it again. I think I went from looking really young to just my age (perhaps older with those greys). Oh well, another thing to get used to! I certainly won't be looking any younger any time soon.
On Saturday Deereandy took to the finishing touches on the new garage door. He put new trim around the door and Chirpee was pleased to supervise his activities. It was just too tiring for him, though so he had to take a snooze.

On Sunday afternoon we took a family trip to Regina, SK to visit with Deereandy's grandma and friends. Unfortunately grandma was sick so we had limited time to visit. We stayed three nights with B. and S.C.. It was a nice time, S. had a "bake day" on Tuesday and a H. and G. came over with their munkins to bake and play.
